No Agenda runs small retreats. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we hold it. It is written to be read rather than to cover us.
No Agenda is the data controller for everything described here, which means we decide what is collected and what happens to it. Cloudflare hosts the site and the database and acts as our processor. Nobody else receives your information.
What we collect
There are exactly two ways to give us information on this site.
The application form
When you apply for a place we collect your name, email address, phone number, a link to your LinkedIn or socials, a yearly income range, a range for what you spend on your own development each year, your room preference, and anything you write in the free-text box.
Income and development spend are asked as ranges, never exact figures. We do not need the precise number to make a decision, and we would rather not hold one.
The mailing list
If you join the list we collect your name and email address, and nothing else.
Why we collect it
- To decide who to offer a place to. The group is small and chosen deliberately, which is the whole point of an application.
- To contact you about your application, and about the retreat if you are accepted.
- To email you when new dates are set, if you asked us to.
We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not build a profile of you from other sources.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or partner companies.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party pixels.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, pixels, or trackers of any kind. Not from us, and not from anybody else.
The only thing stored in your browser is a small record of the fact that you dismissed the privacy notice, so we do not show it to you on every page. It never leaves your device.
If we ever add analytics we will use a cookieless, non-fingerprinting service, and we will update this page before it goes live rather than after.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is nothing here to opt out of, because we do not track you in the first place. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, it changes nothing about how this site behaves, because we already do not collect, sell, or share browsing information.
Where it is held, and for how long
Applications and list signups are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Access is limited to the people running the retreat.
- Applications are kept for 24 months after the retreat they relate to, then deleted.
- Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] and we will, within 30 days: send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not count against an application.
Depending on where you live these rights may come from the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or one of the US state privacy laws now in force, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others. Rather than track which one applies to you, we extend the same rights to everybody.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Children
The retreat is for adults. This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change is material, we will email anyone on the list.
